If you like the game or not that’s fine. As a whole though there is no denying the flaws this game has. 343 did not want a Beta because they did’t want to waste time making one so they could hit the 11/6 release date. I’ve herd ridiculous claims that a blank check was giving for making the game and so on.
The game has potential but the only thing that was really ready was the campaign.
I’ve made post before and read other problems. I’ve also seen people praise the game and say it’s the best ever, even IGN says it’s better then any bungie halo…LMAO In all seriousness though
Severs - Terrible lag/down for many people
JiP - Is broken, games start 5v1 or your tossed into a terrible match
Weapons - Random on map/Personal Ordinance is random luck (worse then bloom ever was)
Playlists - Multiple game types should be in a playlist not always the same damn thing
Maps - Glitches/Limited
Forge/Customs/Theater - Lacking options
File Share - Down since day 1
I would have rather continued to play Reach then H4 come out the way it is. Everything is fixable yes but they shouldn’t have all these problems. Weekly Bulletins also are a waste, rather then explain what they are doing if anything, they go into detail of how to use waypoint and check stats like is a complicated process.
I know people of all ages play this game but stop catering to little kids, this is a M rated game.

It’s a single player game that they added a multiplayer for the first time
They put way more effort into that game, constant updates/free dlc/Challenges
So for a person to say that it’s the first shot that is no excuse
They had control of Reach for awhile they changes they made were because they wanted to get more people involved
Instead we get a copy cat game that has strayed so far from conventional halo forums are exploding with rage rather rejoice.
What will you say years from now when your kids ask you where were you when 343 took halo over
When compared to past halo games when I say “halo” I mean halo 1,2 and 3. THAT was halo.
Halo reach was its own game not part of the halo series. Halo4 's campaign may be part of the halo world but MP is reach 2.0 only better in some ways.
having personal ordnance is fine but there is not frigging way you should get a power weapon ie sniper, laser rockets ect ect. These power weapons should spawn on map random yea thats way better then in the same place everytime
needler, sticky det, SAW are better examples of personal ordnance.
Camo and Prom vision are way to OP’s to be an AA and should be pick-ups on maps.Im not saying they should be taken right out they have their uses not as a starting AA tho.
The jip is the worst thing ever brought into halo 4 MM. bad servers, joining games that are a few kills from being over the fact that 343 said that this would feel like halo but when in any halo game did we not have CTF in BTB? FFA slayer juggernaught multi team SWAT team snipers??
In the end I like halo 4 despite some of the unhalo-like characteristics of the game but I think 343 doesn’t have the same magic that bungie had for halo.

As it is now it’s more fun than Reach and 3. Once those flaws are fixed and we get ranked playlists, new maps, ect, this game will be near perfect for me.

Im a huge fanboy but I’ll admit when things aren’t perfect. halo 4 isn’t a bad game at all but it,like every other game out there,has issues.
If we dont point out things that we as a community think are wrong or maybe could be changed CONSTRUCTIVELY then 343 will think they made a perfect game copy and paste that for halo 5 like COD does.
Look at spartan ops for example.WONDERFUL idea great concept but honestly recycling maps?? If you don’t see something wrong with that give your head a shake.
Even when bungie recycles campaign maps for MM and FF the community told them how much it sucked and even they admitted they wouldn’t do that again…

I’ve been playing Halo since before the torn -Yoink!- you came from was produced. NEVER DID I SAY it was a bad game or that people couldn’t like it. I’m just stating facts as to why this game is not HALO and what needs to be done.
I’m fed up with people mindlessly hating on Halo 4. Thankfully, OP isn’t one of these people, he’s made good points that deserve proper consideration.
The only thing I’d disagree on is, I don’t think the campaign was finished. 8 missions is very short, the plot was very simplistic, there were some bad animations (e.g. UNSC ships vanishing in the Broadsword mission) and certain scenes weren’t explained well at all, as if the writer had rushed off a hasty last-minute cutscene as opposed to giving us a proper, showing-not-telling, hinted-at-beforehand explanation.

I want to know what’s the point of posting this thread when other’s wrote about said issues already? Obviously no Dev has responded to anyone’s post and everyone who posted in thread posted in other threads with the same responses.
Anyways, keep making threads about how this game sucks. It’s always entertaining to see people complain over and over again about how H3 was, “So good.” Also, it’s nice to see other people calling other people, “Blind Fanboys.” Yeah, that’s really mature, resorting to name calling. Those who do that should take a long hard look in the mirror.
I’m not defending anyone, I agree with alittle bit of the problems and agree with others who think this game is fantastic. Also, why compare this game to ME3, OP? That’s a Horde mode gametype, not a PvP. Different ballpark.
