I htink 343 industries has to put something in Halo4 so that they can identify ddosing, and get their IP adress and bring it to the authority’s attention!

Well people shoud do at least something about ddosing. Maybe not doing what i said but at least something.

I played FF in Reach sometime ago, and there was this guy. A Forerunner or Inheritor or something. I blast him a few times to wake him up. He PM’s me to stop. That was it, no response from his con! I look at his achies, he doesn’t have “An honor Serving”, meaning he was a hacker aswell!!!

It’s up to your ISP to do something about DDoS attacks.
there is absoluolty nothing they can do about Ddosing because it isn’t done through XBL or 343i servers, its done directly from them to you.
if you’re that concerned, you best of researching network security.
They can’t detect it. IP flooding happens over the Xbox’s head. All the Xbox does is display what IP address you are sending packets to, which is just a staple in Networking. After that, all work happens through computer to modem. Nothing is sent through Xbox.
The only thing that can be put in place is to see that a player often times has their opponent not finish the match. There is already a system in place for that.
