Stop complaining and appreciate the good in Halo 5

I hear lots of complaints about features added, features taken away, way more complaints about aim assist levels and campaign! Micro-transactions are also a big point of hatred! As long as you enjoy this game, then play it, if you don’t, don’t play it! But before you go, look at all the good, there is lots here!

Thank you.

Finally someone says it. I’ve gotta admit that there have been better halo games than Halo 5 in it’s current version. But that doesn’t stop me, a huge Halo-fanboy, from enjoying this, in my opinion, great game.

This exactly.

Im not COMPLETELY sold on this games but it is pretty damn great and I haven’t been able to play it for four days and feel like I’m going through withdraws (haha).

On the other hand I completely welcome complaints, I’ve learned a lot browsing the forums the last four days and that’s how games get better.

But yeah people complaining with no critiques is annoying.

Every Halo has brought changes in the game. I love Halo 5 so far. Just wish the FFA maps were more diverse they seem to similar just “skinned” so to speak. Regret is a really fun map and Orion is probably the worse map.

Thanks it needed to be said.

Yes there are good things, but that does not mean people should ignore the bad and shove it under the rug.

People LOVE Halo that is why they are so harsh with it because they have an expectation that in this case was not met, also feedback (yes negative feedback too) is great to make companies realize what is ok and what is not so that they can fix it and provide a superior product.

So this attitude of stop complaining and say the game is perfect is more harmful because then we wont push for a better product.

Except people paid $60+ dollars for a product… You would think that that amount of money would at least give some credibility as to what the player base would like to see as in improvements to the game.

“Were it so easy.”

It’s posts like these ruin the game industry. Sucking 343’s -Yoink- won’t make future games better-- complaining and questioning things you don’t like do. Consumer/client feedback is probably the MOST important part of producing a good and hopefully 343 takes the feedback and creates better products In the future. The problem with people now-a-days is that they don’t bother to understand that they’re a bigger part of what they buy than they realize.

I thank you for thanking him in this subject. Halo is halo, obviously it’s not perfect, but it doesn’t mean wine and complain about it. Especially in the forums.

When the good is heavily outweighed by the bad, I’m gonna complain. I think I might just be about done with this game until it gets fixed. I just tried playing a few games today and the more I play, the more I see this game just isn’t fun. In one game on Orion, I was in top mid shooting at enemies while my team was making their way over to the base with the Railgun. I went into cover to reload and I was watching my radar to see if anyone was coming to where I was. An enemy was literally not even on radar for a whole second before he charged me and killed me. That death had nothing to do with enemy being better than me. It was completely unfair. This game punishes players regardless of how good they may be. I really just can’t tolerate this game anymore. It has to be fixed or I think I will just have to quit it. It’s never been this hard to enjoy a Halo game, ever

I think what the OP was saying or at least what I would say is, while yes there is problems with the game and yes they should be addressed and fixed people are doing it in the wrong way you shouldn’t bash on the company saying they ruined the game and they suck they put a lot of work into the game so at least take the time to see the good work they did along with it and along with that some people are blowing thing out of proportion with that they are flaming about. Heck its not like req packs are a must buy to win system is a “if you got money you have the option to get one” thing and most of the reason behind getting them is cosmetic in nature or if you want to play warzone (which not everyone does), and its not like we are all glitching out everywhere clipping through floors or stuff that happened in that one superman game.

… if i were to step on your toe and tell you to “be grateful i didnt just stab you”

never just accept… you should always question and always strive for improvement.

To be fair, a lot of these complain aren’t constructive and just about how Bungie should do Halo again. Personally attacking the OP really dosen’t help either.

I disagree. If it brings a problem or concern to their attention, than it’s constructive in some form. The most important thing is bringing things to attention-- solution can be developed later. There’s also nothing in my post personally attacking the OP, so stop spinning my post.

If that isn’t personally attacking, then I don’t know what is.

  1. Complaining about complaining makes one a complainer which is ironic since that is the premise of one’s post.

  2. No idea why this needed to be bumped back up.
