The DMR is OP, no doubt about it, but I’m tired of people calling DMR users noobs. They are trying to win the game. Don’t blame the game or someone trying to win the game. Occasional forum requests for patches are fine, but enough trash talk in the lobbys already! Also, look at what happened with the gauss. It stinks now that everyone complained. I’ll put a link to my thread on that.
We don’t want a DMR nerf like the gauss one making it terrible, so stop complaining.
You abused the Gauss, and now that is has been rightly nerfed you are complaining because your EZ mode vehicle has gone.
You probably abuse the DMR aswell, when that is appropriately nerfed you are going to complain that your EZ mode weapon is no more.

Edit: Vehicles should have stronger armour, not OP turrets. Halo 3’s Warthog was strong but the turret was fairly weak.
While my go to is the DMR, I used the light rifle for a long time and still do often. You shouldn’t blame players for using the best gun in the game. I don’t see how it’s “abuse” to use the weapon that 90% of the community uses. It’s there, it’s the best, so use it. I would like to see it somewhat nerfed, but players should not be blamed for using the best gun to try and win.
Is trying to get kills “abusing?” What am I supposed to do, not shoot people in the gauss? That’s absurd. There us such a thing as abusing armor abilities (camping in the corner with camo), but weapons? Please. The boltshot can be very frustrating, but adapting is better than complaining. You are just pissed because your BR sucks in this game from anywhere but close range. Just because your favorite weapon from a different halo game with different makers sucks doesn;t mean everyone else is a noob for using the best gun,
To Bubblebutt, your weapon of choice is also the DMR, so shut up. There is no reason to use an inferior gun for some sort of pride issue. Everyone does have access to the DMR, which is why you shouldn’t complain.
When DMR is finally balanced I will stop complain about it. After first TU (when they nerfed Boltshot but done nothing about DMR) I believe 343i doesn’t have a clue that DMR is overpowered.
The use your BR effectively like you have been. If you’re soooooo good, then there is no reason to complain about weapon imbalance. Out-skill DMR users. That’s not something most of use can do with a BR or carbine, so we use the DMR.
That is because you are using DMR almost exclusively and you’re affraid that if it’s taken from you, you’ll face reality about your skills.
Cheer up. It’s just a video game.
No, the DMR is not OP. Rather, the carbine and BR are UP.
And also, if the DMR is supposedly so OP, then how come I regularly stomp all over them with a BR/pulse/thruster loadout?

First…anyone that complains about others using the DMR is a being a fool. To complain about a gun that everyone has access to is laughable. Halo is always more or less been a one gun game for long range automatic use. That’s the way it is.
Lastly, anyone who complains about the DMR, I can guarantee them that I could out dual them with a BR with them using a DMR…and I’ve only played Halo 4 a handful of times.
The only thing that hasn’t changed about Halo in Halo 4 are the way BKs still think…they are still ignorant whinny little cry babies that claim to be good and call the actual good players BKs. They are an annoying bunch.
When that’s the only weapon you use when there is like 20 other ones to choose from then that makes you a noob. Sitting back and shooting people means you suck, means you’re too scared to actually confront your opponents. I win games with the plasma pistol
