We finally got 1-50, whats to complain about. I see people whine that its on waypoint, theres no problem there. They said during the live stream you could visit waypoint ingame and also compare stats and search players. So they made a game with both halo 2 skill rank with waypoint in game and halo reach progression points for unlock. Sounds like the best of both worlds to me? They even told everyone theres a huge change the stats from before CRS will be used. Means when the game launch, dont mess up in competitive play lists or suffer.
Because i have a bad feeling that since it isnt easily visible like in halo 3 it will become irrelevant and nobody will care about their rank which will result in nobody caring about winning like in reach which was a disaster

There were plenty of people who didn’t care about winning even with a visible rank next to there name…

Its visible ingame, there is a ingame tab like the reach armory, where its actually halowaypoint. Thats where your ranks is, you can even look up your friends or recent players on that tab for their rank. So its definivitly ingame. You can even look it up while you wait in game lobby before it starts. Theres simply no rank next to players name in the lobby itself. People that dont try will be ranked low anyway, i dont see the problem i wont face them lol.
Ill repeat again because it seems people forgot the live stream, halowaypoint is reachable ingame. Via quick menus and can be looked up at any times, minus gameplay. You dont have to log into waypoint all the time.
Some of those same people that are praising 343i should also be apologizing because we saw how ugly you were acting. :=|

those people either played social or were such a low rank that they never played with people who really did care.

still not the same as halo 3. It could work, it could fail. I don’t know yet I will have to wait and see but there is no reason to not just make it 100% visible now

While visible ranking all the way like halo 3 would be the best hing since sliced bread for me, others might not want it n their face. But seriously you should rejoice as we weren’t going to get anything… See this as a victory ! We will have stats and see ourselves improve!

False. There were plenty of people who deranked in the ranked playlists. Also you have the people who liked to betray you when you got a power weapon that they wanted. Don’t kid yourself ranked had plenty of people in it that didn’t care about winning.
