Stop buying REQ packs until we get some patches

I’m not raging, I’m simply annoyed at 343i’s inability to release updates in a timely fansion. Halo 5 is a blast, however there are some major issues which will lead to its demise just as Halo 4.

I refuse to sink my money into this game until 343 releases updates fixing these fundamental flaws, you know which ones there are 100’s.

343 brags how they are making $500,000 weekly. This is almost insulting, and yet, they haven’t released a single patch. 343 may have gotten my money for buying the game, but it won’t get anymore until some patches come along.

The community can do what they want, but if you want to get some patches for this game, stop buying REQ packs. They will learn quickly that you can’t take people’s money without providing a playable game.

I’m an indie game developer myself, if I pulled the same -Yoink- 343 does, I’d be out of business, fast.

If you have gotten this far, thank you for listening to my rant. You can agree or disagree. This is simply what I’m doing.

only issues i have is the lack of a voting system and the crap swatnums i play about 90% of my swat games. other than that i don’t see many issues, also i don’t buy the reqs i just use my points

Stop telling other people how to spend their money. Expecially when you cry for patches but dont give an example of what needs to be fixed.

It’s been a week. Calm down.

You seem to be uneducated on how game development works. I will give you as much detail as someone who knows a bit.
First of all 343 has been most likely figuing out what they need to fix. They are probably addressing priority what’s the biggest concerns that are causing problems for the largest amount of people. They will not have at the top of the list something that only effects 3% of the players at any given time.
They are then working on fixing those problems which take time. Games have so much coding that one line can cripple hundreds of other lines of code.
After they have seemed to fixed the problem the patch is then put through Q/AA testers where they will find out what was fixed and if it breaks anything. Once the testers finish their analysis and deem the patch a success they can move on to I believe certififying the patch. And after all that it will be given a date and released to the public .

The game has only been out for ten days if I am counting right. Not nearly enough time to see, fix, and test any problems that were announced. Be patient things take time if they rush they run the chance at making the games experience worse.

I’m perfectly educated on how it works, as I’m a programmer myself. I’m mainly just annoyed so I’m on the internet venting.

I’m hoping it will get fixed, and I know it has only been a week, but I feel like this is exactly what happened with Halo 4. I thought to myself, it’ll be fine 343 will take care of things with Halo 4. No, they dropped the ball and didn’t listen to what their customers wanted. The outcome was Halo 4 died, fast.

Now, I’m hoping things have changed and that they have learned their lesson with doing things their way. I hope to see some patches come out over the next month or so. I understand it takes time. As I said, I was venting. It’s just nice to hear a company state that they’re are working on resolving their -Yoink- ups.

Bungie was better with addressing the community than 343. So it’s mainly a communication with the community I guess.

shut up u 343i hater! reported for construc-uhhh i mean non-constuctive criticism! PPL LIKE U RUIN THE COMMUNITY, U SHOLD ONLY PRAISE OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR 343i FOR BLESSING US WITH HALO 5 AND NOT CRITIQUE IT OR COMPLAIN ABOUT IT IN ANYWAY

I don’t think them saying that the Halo Championship prize pool is being upped to $1.5 million is insulting to us.

it needs some patches but it was released like a week ago. Give it some time. Everything will be good.

I apologize if I had insulted you, it is quite difficult to gauge someone’s knowledge on the internet when everyone knows everything.

Though with Halo 4 if I recall didn’t 343 mostly consist of people who didn’t like the Halo series? If that is the case I can’t really blame them for how long it took for a patch to come out for H4. (I’ll come back and edit this post at a later time.)
