I’m defending the flag. Just because I’m not rushing out every spawn and dying doesn’t give you the right to betray me.
Since these -Yoinking!- kids are never going to stop, JUST -Yoinking!- TURN OFF FRIENDLY FIRE.
I thought this would be about as soon as your in the clear away from the enemy and have flag in a reasonable distance to the delivery point, the jerks that betray you for those extra 100 points i dont blame them i mean free 100 points for killing your teammate. Honestly i used to love that i could betray people for -Yoink- and giggles(immature Halo 3 days) but it gets annoying

I can neither confirm nor deny that I did this to my friends tonight. But come on. They were in a hog that was slightly on fire, and flying towards me, it was the last cap, and I had one plasma left. I couldn’t resist. Oh and it was a full hog too. 
BUT I did that with my friends and we were all having a good time. I wouldn’t do that to randoms.
first time online at a cousin’s AWESOME sniper offline, I was better in halo 3 though must say, I no scoped usually then, but anyways I get the sniper on gulch in reach (by the way train tracks scare at & t, if anyone tells me why i’ll give invisible cookie, wtf sup?) I instantly get shot at, by my own damn teammates nearly killing me, i hope into the base and put in my mic telling them to screw off, then counter sniped anyone after our hog or wraith,
i swear I got the whole teams friend requests and half the other teams, guess who said no to those he looked at in theater?
Oh yeah an edit to mention, when I hopped into the next game wearing bungie flames reloading for new players, I equipped my bungie flames I got when I wasn’t on xboxlive, i had my profile created on xboxlive so i was able to get them, I logged in quite a few months later and saw them, but forgot to equip before my sniper incident, anyways, new game with my blue flames, and they’re shooting at me?!

Well, betraying happens even in matchmaking games where friendly fire’s been turned off…
I’ve been ran over by our own Warthog several times, because some -Yoink- couldn’t live with the fact, that i grabbed the sniper rifle on Ragnarok faster than he could do it. So he rammed me and stole it.
That’s one of the things that can infuriate me the most… The other is when the guy with a sniper rifle gets banshee or warthog and goes to the other side of the map and gets shot down / blown apart and gives that way the OTHER TEAM our sniper rifle…
That’s very true. In the midst of a hectic gunfight, you can sometimes lose sight of who your enemy is. I think I killed friendlies twice tonight in WG…

It’s gotten really bad lately. I try and be the team player and help the team out.
If someone is near me when I pick it up and they even try once to shoot at me , I fire all the ammo into the ground

I kept being attacked by 1 person, once he betrayed me & destroyed my mantis.
I kept shooting/punching him over & over, then i got booted.
No fair, he started it.

I never betray people for power weapons. Because you get booted everytime, but they can do it and you can’t boot.
OP: I get the feeling you’re talking about on Ragnarok? Happens to me all the time. Let them kill you and pray to the Banhammer gods that you get the option to boot.
Oh man that junk sure gets old. I am betrayed ALL THE TIME. I’ve only had the ability to boot 2 people yet I get betrayed all the time. Most of the time I use vehicles someone on my team wants to blow it up with stickies or lock me down with plasma pistol. Why do people do this? Its not fun, not funny, and DEFINATELY hurts the entire population. If someone else gets lucky on their personal ordinance, it usually means they got unlucky because some twerp wants that gun so bad, they will lose games on purpose to get a stupid sniper/binary.
Main question, why can I never boot betrayers when I’m betrayed all the time, but anytime I accidentally run over a teammate (who shoulda looked both ways before crossing) I get booted IMMEDIATELY?! I don’t betray people on purpose, EVER.

I betray people for the sniper because they suck with it crouching with their little active camo in the back of the map
