It’s a program doing it, not people. They can’t control anything, but the banning conditions.
Time to increase that speed or find a company that doesn’t suck!

I do enjoy these threads. Seeing people being banned for behaviour they used to get away with is like nectar to me.

Have your isp service technician do an in-depth diagnostic of your network. Often times, something as simple as a bad cable splitter will cause entire drop outs of your connection.

Because 343i don’t care about you and they only care about $$$$$. To them if you get quit ban on your account it your fault even know you can’t control how the internet work or game error and many other thing made you get disconnected in game. I feel bad for you because of 343i quit ban program.
I just got banned because I kept on losing connection to their servers. so I feel your pain.

It is not their fault your Internet provider is terrible, and getting disconnected leaves your team at a disadvantage which is no different from a regular quitter.
If your connection is dropping regularly stop playing and try to fix it otherwise the bans are deserved.

Regardless of the reason behind it(intentionally disconnecting, network problems, your power goes out, etc), you are not finishing matches and are ruining someone else’ time. If you are unable to sort out the reason for your disconnects, then you shouldn’t be able to play.

Lagging out of games is the same as quitting from everyone’s perspective but your own. Microsoft and 343 reserve the right to deny you service.

If you keep getting disconnected, but keep joining matches anyhow, the affect is the same as a chronic quitter. 343 is trying to make mm a positive experience for it’s customers. They can’t allow you to keep leaving matches intentional or not.
My advice? Call up your ISP and tell them you want to terminate service. If they’re anything like my current and past ISP’s they’ll bend over backwards to improve your service rather than lose you as a customer. This has worked for me twice in the past and cost me nothing. Worth a shot.
