Honestly, there’s got to be a way to tell if a guy quit or lagged.
I mean, I just want to get the last match to get ranked in Arena, but I kept lagging out, and it’s not my internet. All other games work fine, no lag, just Halo 5.
I lagged out 4 times in a row. FOUR FRAGGING TIMES! And to make it all worse, I’m now banned.
The problem is, lag outs and quits both count as DNFs (Did Not Finish) and get punished equally. Yes, I see the point of banning quitters, as it deincentivizes them from quitting, but you don’t need to deincentivize someone from lagging. Most people don’t like when they lag out in the middle of a killing spree.
So please, can we stop banning poor spartan who are only victim to server problems?

If you know about the issue then why do you keep continuing to try? People like you kinda piss me off. Hash out your connection issues in normal games and then go to ranked. Nothing pisses me off more than a laggy teammate that gets dropped. You, yourself, has said its happened 4 times. So stop, figure out the issue, and then go back in. Use the ‘Focused’ search preference and find the best connection for you and stop making others have to suffer for your incompetence.
