I’m just going to make this short and to the point:
The game telling players when power weapons are going to be up, as well as the Spartans communicating for us, completely trashes any competitive aspects left in this series. I’m starting to think that this game is being aimed at an elementary school demographic with the amount of babying going on.
What’s next? You walk for 50 steps - you get a medal! "Marathon Man!"
Other than that, the game looks like it will be somewhat fun to play.

This community needs babying.
Played a game of Halo 2 and 3, players would pass by the power weapons without even noticing them. Not even BR’s!! People don’t -Yoinking!- run after BR’s anymore! Anyway, played a match of Halo 4, and as soon as the sniper icon showed up everyone was running towards it. Its simple, the difference between what Halo players should do, and what Halo players actually do is very big.

I will say that the “Sniper up in 10 seconds!..Power weapons up in 10 seconds!” thing is kind of redundant though.
I agree they can tone down the voice saying when its up. Leave the timer icon. but seriously.

You do know that a huge part of the Halo fanbase is under 17 as well, right?

They need to dumb the game down so that younger players will stand a chance of doing well. The fact is they’re trying to make money and more 12&13 year olds buy video games than competent adults who don’t need their hands held. Its rather ironic that games labeled mature cater to users 14 and under. In my opinion I think the ESRB needs to refine its policies towards rating games. This doesn’t just go for halo btw a large majority of console games these days are doing it, cod proved its the best method to make the most money.
so you would prefer your team not know when something is about to spawn back up? yes it needs a disable button for those playing in a premade, and needs to tone it down alittle on how much is said and how often.
