Please give it a rest people. You will never be heard. 343 will NEVER give you Halo 1,2, or 3. That would be business suicide. This blind fanaticism is plaguing game forums. People are afraid of change and get it in their minds that the new stuff will be terrible to the point where if feels terrible to them. You have to go in with an open mind and you will enjoy the game. Halo 3 still exists and as far as I know it still has a population so go play that if that is what suits your fancy.
Please don’t bombard 343 with demands for the original trilogy. Halo is moving forward and you all must admit that if they just continued making the same game with improved graphics you wouldn’t play it. And if they did cave to your demands of blind fanaticism you WILL have COD. Do you guys really want Halo to go that route and become just like COD in becoming same game different year.
I agree completely. there is too much negativity on these forums rather than support, help, information, chats, and easy topics to read about. All I see are a whole bunch of little kids whining that the game is evolving. It’s a game and it contributes to business, get over it.

Exactly. I despise seeing alleged halo Vets claiming they know better than the developer. No they don’t. They did not develop the game, 343 did. People need to accept change in the Halo series. The changes are good and the only reason people don’t like them is because of blind fanaticism or fanboyism to the original trilogy.
Yes the games were good but Halo 4 is refreshing iteration and has made Halo evolve in a positive way. There will always be glitches but you have to give 343 time to iron them out, not all of them can be caught before hand or even in a beta.
But the so called “changes” 343i has made to Halo 4 are the features CoD already use. So if you consider moving foward copying another FPS, than sure they are moving toward what every other FPS is doing. Halo is unique, why dumb down to copy other FPS’s?

Halo didn’t need to evolve or change, some slight tweaks ya, but it did not need a complete overhaul. Funny thing is, we all criticize Cod for not changing. Why would they? They have a system that the fans obviously love, it would be pretty stupid on activision’s end to overhaul the system.
You ask people to stop asking for Halo CE,2 and 3. I’m asking you to post this in the corrct forum. This has nothing to do with Halo 4. You should also read the rules.

Just like every FPS has copied doom and wolfenstien. See what I did there?
No. I got it in my mind that this change was good, and that this game would be really good! Guess what? After the first two or three days this game got boring. Now I realize that this game is just bad. Certain change is good, but the change Halo 4 has is not good.

Halo:CE sold 6.5 million, Halo 2 sold 8.5 (1 in 4 Xbox users had the game, massive attachment rate) and Halo 3 sold 12.5 million if you include digital sales.
Oh yes, releasing a classic Halo game sounds like business suicide.
I stopped reading at that point. Take your very bad misinformed opinion of what this community and of what the market demands elsewhere.
Reach sold less in it’s lifetime than H3 did by 2.5 million+. Halo 4 just about surpassed Halo 3’s numbers week one, not amazing considering sequels are meant to sell more and the fact the Xbox 360s install base has since doubled.
I’d rather have a rehash of CE, H2 or H3 than Call of Halo: Reach 1.5, as we have gotten.
There’s also a difference between disliking specific changes and wanting the same game again. I dislike most of the changes H4 brings forward because I consider them to be stupid, for example.

I don’t think people are complaining about the fact that the game is “evolving”, but rather the fact that the game is “evolving” in ways that they consider to be bad or silly or whatever.

Halo 2 doesn’t still exist on xbox live though and not everybody wants to go back to halo 3. People always do complain when a new game comes out but you will see more complaining with a game like halo 4 because its just so awful. People have a right to complain when they pay $60 for a game that turns out to be a total pos. I only played halo 4 for a few days and got bored of it so fast. I haven’t even played it for weeks which is ridiculous being that the game just came out. I usually can’t stop playing a new game when I first get it. It’s not even that people don’t want change at all. It’s just that just about all the changes 343 made to halo are awful. All the multiplayer maps are absolute garbage too.
