Seriously I have seen so many threads asking to hide things, one your taking up thread space, two the game is gold they are not changing anything!
I’m taking up thread space too, but really people need to stop!
I don’t care if your a casual gamer, the game has had ranks since halo 2 ((halo CE wasn’t online) nobody cares about the pc version were they didnt think to have ranks). Stop ruining the game for others.
STOP CATERING TO THE CASUALS AND CATER TO THE MAJORITY
We need ranks. End of story.

I made this account because i was planning to buy halo 4. And pretty pissed that 343 ONLY caters to the casual community.

Wow. For a game that mature players are supposed to be playing, people are acting really immature to this.
343i has given reasons in the past for their views on the ranking system. It promotes boosting, flaming, etc. They asked MLG people what the purpose of visible ranking is, and their response was bragging rights.
343i brings a compromised system in. It works like Halo 3, matching you with skill, but you don’t see the rank.
Then people start spamming the forums with sarcastic and idiotic threads. You’re acting like spoiled kids who whine forever when they don’t get what they want.

343i is doing all this to appeal to casual gamers (a larger audience) and more players = more money.
They don’t want the high ranked players to scare away the newbies.
I’m fed up of all the 343i fanboys who just decided to side with them even though they’ve clearly -Yoinked!- up in many ways.
