These 12-man teams are tearing me up lately. I mean, I suppose they’re supposed to, given that they’re twelve players coordinating their assaults. But, honestly, it’s ruining Warzone and WA for me. lol
Before, when Halo 5 was just a month or two old, I could win about 4-5 Warzone matches out of every ten. These past few days, however…god, I’ve been getting curb stomped, badly, 7 or 8 games in a row. A little demoralizing, to say the least.
Maybe I’m just having a bad couple of days, or maybe I’m just not up to the challenge of tackling full fireteams. Or maybe I need to just git gud, idk. haha
Think I might take a break for a bit…see if casual warzone makes a comeback at some point. Right now, it’s just more frustrating than fun. I’m fine with taking my lumps like everyone else (my only quits have be DC’s, and there’s only a few of those), but I can only take so many repeated whacks to my face with a sledgehammer before I have to draw the line.
Anyway, /rant. ^^
I was there last night as well. At one point played a group of guys in Warzone Assault that had 4 or so players in the SR 135-148 rank range. That’s many factors more of time played than I did, and they rolled through me and my randoms. Happened quite a bit the last few weeks. I think last night I reached a 10 game losing streak? I’m not a bad player, but that was ugly. It had me wondering if they’ve tweaked the matchmaking settings behind the curtain.
Feel your pain, although I’ve had the luck to only get placed against teams twice, I dislike losing to those who just group up to win.

isnt that the point?
its dangerous to go alone; take friends.
The problem is finding people to play with. I get no at random times. And sometimes I don’t have a mic. It just sucks getting steam rolled…

Yes, yes it does…multiple times in a row. lol
It’s hard to be mad, tho, you know. Because it’s just a game. But it is just a little annoying.
I mean, you know you’re in trouble when the first and second bases are captured in less than 3 minutes, and they’re immediately at your final base’s doorstep in no time, swarming the core like pirrahna (spelling?).
You just know it’s going to be a bad time. lol
We use to group up in a party of 12 but mainly it was a social thing. I ran into some other guys in the process though that take it very seriously and are very co-ordinated.
