I just wanted to see what tracks people like from the samples. Personally I love the new stuff - Kamchatka and Osiris Suite 2 sound sick!!

Take a gander at the Conviction soundtrack. It’s REALLY good.
I never played any Splinter Cells after Double Agent. I will have to have a look 
My personal favorite from the samples was Warrior World. I loved the way it sounded and I can’t wait to hear the entire thing.

I love that one too, in polygon’s video it transitions somewhat to a rock theme while maintaining the horn in the background.
For me it would be scavengers, kamchatcka, and walk softly.
Man, it’s always hard to get an idea of a song from a 20 sec sample, but so far:
1-1. Halo Canticles (obviously)
1-3. Kamchatka (cut of right before it got REALLY epic)
1-5. Rock and Ice (bit of 3, bit of 4 i’m pretty sure this is the one that leads into the “warthog run” theme)
2-5. The Trials (new 117 i think)
2-9. Reunion (see spoiler)
Just speculation: reunion with Cortana maybe?

Seems like we’re in agreement that Kamchatka is going to be an epic one and it’s most likely the track for the opening level too, as first level is on Kamchatka
I need to hear the full versions of Kamchatka, Scavengers, and The Trials. I really enjoy this soundtrack overall though.
My personal favorite is Kamchatka so far though. I’m almost positive that it’s the same track as the one used at the end of the earlier Halo 5 Beta vidocs with the large and epic orchestra. Listening closely to Kamchatka, you can clearly tell it’s the beginning/build up to that song and it sounds incredibly epic. I can’t imagine how they plan on using it in gameplay, but I imagine it will be epic, considering it’s the first mission of the game.
I also remember at the end of the Warzone Vidoc, there was a newer version of 117 that you could hear. Couldn’t make that out of any of the samples, but I hope it’s in there somewhere. Possibly The Trials, but not sure.
Honestly looking forward to hearing the full soundtrack.

Warrior World, and it’s now more or less the Sangheili theme. I love it.
The Kamchatka sample has me the most excited for where this soundtrack will go, on the bigger, more powerful side. I’ve heard Jameson Locke throughout some of the old ViDocs, and it’s one of my favorite Halo tracks ever created. I love the subtle manner of it, it’s ambience, it gives me chills.
My only complaint is that it is being released days after the game. Halo 4’s was released nearly a month before the game.

Just listened to Warrior World again. Loving the tribal vibe. Got to be a Sanghellios track? I love how it’s a blend of old and new Halo music. I personally enjoyed H4’s soundtrack and this seems to be expanding on the best bits of that

At least it keeps the full content of the tracks a surprise so we enjoy them for the first time when playing the game

Yeah, it was on the Enemy Lines mission, and it seems to have many phases. It feels like a throwback to ODST and Reach with its percussion and guitar, and something else entirely at the same time. My favorite parts of Halo 4’s soundtrack were from Kazuma (though I liked the rest of it as well). As long as Lasky’s theme(which was composed by Kazuma) and african drums make it in, this soundtrack will be even more perfect than it already is.
Ugh. 3 long weeks to go.
The samples are weak sauce, in that they don’t do the OSTs justice that much. If you want to listen to some good, longer sound tracks, go to YouTube.
Favorites- Meridian Crossing, Kamchata, Jameson Locke, Skeleton Crew, Blue Team, Halo Canticles, Rock and Ice, and Scavengers. But man, this soundtrack gives me chills! Crazy how much emotion it can convey in just a 30 second sample. Edit: also, all the Osiris suites. Especially #4.
