Some part of me actually thinks that might have been the original design considering the ability to carry fusion coils. It is also such a simple utility to add to an already existing piece of the sandbox (making coils ‘keys’ that activate things). Maybe after testing they found explosive objectives led to far too many stalemates? Idk.
Still tho, think about the absolute chaos.
As it is now tho, stockpile is kinda lame. I’m all for trying new game types, but most new types (assault and stockpile, for example) are just ctf with a twist.
