I am currently in the process of opening silver packs and I am almost finished with them too.
I have a couple non-halo friends (read scrubs) who always want me to open those gold packs.
So I gave in.
I let them open one.
And I unlocked the Vengeance stance.
Face. Palm.
Should’ve just bought Gold packs last.
But we’ve all been there, it is a pain.
Just keep on unlocking those reqs. You’ll get them all eventually.

Bronze, Silver, then Gold, is the most economical way to go. It is tempting, but don’t give in!

I have been doing this. I occasionally open gold packs to shut them up for 10 minutes though.sw

At the start, all I opened was gold packs. Until I was shown the better way.

Ok, probably the most noob-ish question that’ll be asked in this thread but what do you people mean by bronze then silver then gold?
I recently finished with the silver it’s nice to have each gold pack give me ultra rates and legendary.
I’m told by some of my Halo playing scrub friends. To open gold packs. And I tell 'em, I’m going for the silvers.
Go for silvers first
My advice is…
open silver and bronze until you stop getting weapon certs
then start to open gold packs.

The req packs in game that you can buy with in game credits or real life cash come in bronze,silver and gold variants.
If your a newcomer to the halo req system, the most economical way of collecting/unlocking everything is to buy only bronze packs until you recieve Req points back and then do the same with silver packs (once silver packs are completed you will recieve 2x 1500 req point cards instead of a permanent unlock) until you reach gold.

Yeah defiantly best to wait and do Gold last. I just actually completed my silvers finally and am now on gold. I’m sad I have to wait so long to open gold packs though.
I just want to clarify: I do only open silver packs. My friends won’t believe me when I say silvers are better. I know the correct way to open packs.
I went through a stage of buying lots of gold packs before I was active on here. So I’ve learnt the error of my ways and will now be grinding silvers, I have around 97k reqs saved but I’m in the middle of a little hiatus at the moment

I am saving up in the hopes that there will be another pack with the Athlon Champion armor in early December. It is (believe it or not) on of my favorite armors.
