Could someone tell me all the medals and impulses included in the stats for Sting Like a Bee?

I don’t believe there has ever been anything official released on this, the company I’m with does some rather extensive stat tracking and was never able to come up with a list that accurately reflected the progression of the commendation. I believe the determination included melees, beat downs, sni-punch, gun punch, brawler, and BXR and even then the commendation progressed more quickly than the medals would indicate.

Thanks, @comedyshermit. I’m wondering if there are some impulses that are also counted. Anyway, my stats are iffy at best due to spartan movement in and out of companies. We’re mostly looking to get a rough break down of contributors to better prune our ranks and also to use as a recruiting tool. “We’re this active.”

You might have a word with khelekrandir; he manages the stats for the company I’m in. He might be able to give you a few suggestions if he has the time.

Pretty cool. Are you using the API?

I think it’s safe to assume that anything involving your fists will count towards the commendation. I would include Spartan Charge, Ground Pound, and Assassinations as the system sees them as the same as normal melee attacks (especially in the carnage report), but I need to do some more field testing.

Retribution is another one I came across, that’s probably in that list.

I think a large issue with the numbers being off is due to the fact that spartans join and leave companies. A company earns the stats for its members, only while they’re members. For example, I’m a couple years into the company SWAT, which is all but dead. I’ve recently switched to Cronus, but Cronus doesn’t benefit from any of my past performance. I am active, so Cronus will benefit from on going activity, naturally.
