No PvE, no BTB fiesta, no Grifball…
Current running event gives you all of those pointless reward but asking you to play and play.
Did you know how we called those reward in Chinese ? 『雞肋』.
It means “chicken ribs” - tasteless when eaten but a pity to throw away
So how to get those “chicken ribs” ? You’ll have to finish those challenge :
Asking you to kill 10 enemies with specified weapon, and you will never have that weapon in entire match.
Asking you to kill enemy with fusion coil, but there is ONLY ONE map gives you fusion coil and you still can’t play on that map even after continued 10 matches.
Asking you to win 3 matches and throw you into losing match again and again (for example 12:36 when you enter)
These dirty tricks challenge might help with online player count, but makes game not fun anymore.
Halo Infinite - utter lack of fun, really disappointed
Yeah for me there is nowhere to go in this game to just have fun. I would love to just drop in to a custom game lobby with some crazy settings on a crazy map. But apparently nobody can actually release completed games any more, so we have to wait until the games population is gone for that stuff.
I’ve had my fill of ranked now, it is super stressful, rightfully so. My problem is with social. It just isn’t fun. The matchmaking is really inconsistent, but this mantra of perfectly balancing the matches just ruins the whole experience. Matchmaking will stick me in with a bunch of level 1 players to level the teams out, and so if I don’t want to get dominated I have to sweat my Stoatbag off.
When custom games finally arrives I will be relieved. As it is the game just isn’t fun
Desync still makes that very hard for me. My character jitters and constantly has a seizure, enemies teleporting around corners, delayed explosions. Worst feeling Halo I’ve ever played. Its great when its good, but thats not the average experience I can find.
I uninstalled on my Xbox a few weeks ago. 4 out of 5 games my Ping time is 250 ms because 343’s Automagic matchmaking code thinks Amsterdam (250+ ms ping times) is somehow closer to Alberta Canada than Seattle (which is 25 ms ping time). Expect a FPS shooter to be fun and playable at 4 frames per second is insane.
Im just using this time to get better at the power weapons, cause when the desync comes in and you unload an AR on a guy and it still doesnt kill him, might as well be productive
Jerry hook the head designer for 343 basically tweeted out if we didn’t like halo to not play it (basically pulling a BFV dev move) but he had his tweet PR proof read and is now saying “it was a bout all forms of entertainment” even though he responded to a halo tweet and then proceeded to like a tweet that says halo fans are whiney.
I don’t know man, kids are delusional with destiny. New content is just reskinned enemies and same crap-tastic weapons. This generation of gamer and last are easily pleased. I’d give a nut to have gaming like it was in ps2 and ps3/360 days where there were new games every week. All fps games are repetitive and grow stale.
