Sure the update with the CE Magnum Grifball and a few other things was nice and all but we’re still missing something, that something has been with us since HALO 2s multiplayer was launched.

I am of course speaking about playable Elites/Sangheili. While 343 tries to answer to the ten year olds crying about infection and such slowly a HALO community was withering away ever since HALO 4.

Before this post becomes a flame war about how Sangheili are unbalanced Think not from competitive multiplayer but lore wise. The most common argument was that Sangheili had more shields. While this was true in Reach it was only noticeable during hijacking where a Sangheili would have to take two headshots as they had some shield remaining. As it took THE SAME AMOUNT OF SHOTS on a fully shielded Sangheili with a DMR to kill them it really didn’t matter.

While people say a Sangheili’s hitbox is different and hard to hit it makes sense. Lore wise the Sangheili helmet was designed to reduce risk of major injury to the head and if in a real war it would be like me with a sniper and a mountain with thermal imaging and you with a rifle and a helmet with a flat plain. You wouldn’t complain to your officer about it or you’ll be fired.

Now the most used argument by mainly ten year olds. Sangheili can run faster and jump higher. While this does sound Unfair it’s only a minor difference and you’d have to run a pretty long distance for a Sangheili to catch up and while jumping higher. Well wall clamber would balance that.

A whole community has been ruined think about it for a second… Yep and most of the Sangheili community are HALO 2 veterans.

I’m addressing HALO 5 so it won’t be moved. Probably.

The real thing missing is the fact that wheelmen do not get assists for their gunners’ kills - it’s blasphemy I tell you!

It’s been a feature sice the first time you could play multiplayer and to quote myself earlier. ‘A whole community withered away’

Also identical hit boxes = Reach hitboxes surely it’s not that hard.

Dont forget about splitscreen people! Halo 5 is played less because of these things.
Watch this video! His friend had to buy a whole new xbox and halo 5 to play together!
