So, believe it or not I only got H5 a little before Christmas time and I’m going through getting packs and trying to unlock more skins. I looked at a wiki list of all recorded skins and I was wondering what skins are still available after how long this game has been out? I guess the better question would be what skins AREN’T available. I know you have to buy all official team skins, but were there any promotional/limited time skins that were released?
If there’s already a thread with this info please point me in the right direction.
I know the Sticker Shock skins or what ever they are called are no longer available. Aside from the Fire/Ice Unicorn skins, I have every other skin, including all the Team Skins, except for the Sticker skins. I even have both the 343 Skins for the AR and Magnum.

But some are hidden. Like the Fire and Ice skins. Those are really rare and special skins that don’t show up on the collection list until you get them. Same with the 343 Skins. You can’t get those anymore. There was a short period where you were able to get the 343 Skins in Gold Packs…but they fixed it because they are like Employee exclusive skins. But they allowed the people who managed to get them from the packs during that very brief time to keep them. I am glad I managed to get them, they are probably one of the more rare cosmetics I have.

Still haven’t redeemed mine. I really gotta do that. Problem is, I don’t wanna take my poster down.
There was a thread a few weeks or a month ago that listed all the unattainable skins, but I can’t remember what it was called. Maybe someone else remembers it. For your question, the old 343 skins and I think the Sticker Shock skins aren’t available anymore. The eSports teams that aren’t in Halo anymore aren’t available either unless they come back.

People posted while I was responding so they already mentioned what I did, but the Sticker Shock skins were originally in a loot crate and then 343 released them for a limited time.

Yes, there were part of a special pack/deal. Kinda like the Classic Helmets. They had the pack available for a short time. But if you missed it, you missed it. Unless they decide to make it available again for another period. Though honestly, I don’t mind missing them, not really a fan of the look.

If I had to choose any skin for my magnum aside from the 343 one, I would have to choose the wolf one. I can’t remember the name of it but it has a wolf howling at a moon on it.

Yeah the full moon skin. That’s one of my current favorites out of the skins I have now; along with the odst and spiral skin.

It is best to open nothing but silvers till they refund two 1500 point req cards instead of unlocks then open golds. There is an over lap of items why open gold packs that can possibly have silver level unlocks, that is a waste of points. Don’t go for specific items odds are you will spend way more points and take way longer to obtain them if you randomly open packs.

I’d go with Bronze first, until you see that you unlocked every low tiered skin on Halowaypoint as you pointed out and THEN try this approach…

That’s good for people who are just starting out but if they have already been opening packs they can just keep grinding silvers. They more likely have those items already if not they can always get the few bronze items later. Some one was telling me there are a few unlocks that you can only get in bronze, but thry are pretty needless items unless you are a complentionist.

This worked best for me and I was at level 140-something, so I was one of those people. I didn’t believe the whole bronze-silver-gold thing before that.
