So 343i. I supported you in every argument against Bungie fanboys.

I pre ordered your game from Amazon.

I was so psyched for your game that I STILL went to Walmart for the midnight launch because I couldn’t wait 16 more hours to play.

I bought the Season Pass, even though Firefight was always more of my thing.

I have purchased every Halo game, book, and special thingy possible.

And yet, a solid week after I was supposed to get it, no Spec code, no Crimson map pack avalible for download, and the game I paid 60$ for is still a laggy, glitch ridden mess.

I am SICK of excuses. I am SICK of you claiming that it’s “Live’s” fault for lag. I’m SICK of being shafted every damn day on the News hearing about tattoos, or halo cupcakes, or a “funny lol pic” instead of oh, I don’t know, progress on fixing the damn file search option that has been broken since launch?

Fix your beta release of a game, give people what they PAID for, and start treating people like they have half a brain. How hard is it to send out a message on Live?

And for petes sake, YES I’m over 17, YES I played on the midnight the game was released, and YES I live in Minnesota, which is in the US, last time I checked.

343 is -Yoink- its been 2 weeks stuck at lvl 70 and no code…they are jipping us out of our money and not doing -Yoink- about it. I miss bungie.

That is all done with Microsoft. It was their promotion to send the codes out, not 343i. Also Microsoft distributes the map pack, 343i just makes it. If you’re going to blame anyone you should be blaming Microsoft.

343 is doing a much better job than you guys are giving them credit for. It hard to take over someone elses game and not change so much that they piss people off. The war games lag is at the fault of xbox live, not 343. If you have a problem with it there’s always Call of Duty to be played. The specialization codes were emailed to the email associated with your gamertag if you bought standard edition halo and were online before nov. 20th so try checking there before you blame 343. and honestly how many of you halo fans put up with halo 2 with its multitude of glitches. Halo 4 is (in my opinion) one of the best halo games yet despite the very few glitches it has.

So you’re saying that 343 had no control over the promotion of their own game? I find that hard to believe.

I also find it hard to believe that they are having difficulty sending out Spec codes, when I get PLENTY of spam email from xbox all the time.

Finally, Bungie NEVER missed a map release for Halo 3 or Reach for that matter.
In fact on Bungie Day of '07 they gave us Cold Storage for free.

Live’s infrastructure could only have improved since then, so why are they failing so hard right now?

343 has pull with Microsoft NOT US so we complain here. 343 is losing costumers not Microsoft(everyone just going to another game).so i think this is perfect place to complain. flamers should stop beating people up for venting there frustrations on a problem that should have been foreseen by 343 and Microsoft. 343 has yet to fix customization codes and we r all frustrated. so keep those complaints coming looking forward to reading them all as i get closer and closer to leaving halo for good.

Yes, because Bungie didn’t cap us for OVER A MONTH, Bungie didn’t create a cR cap, bungie gave us a TU to fix bugs in the first month…

Nostalgia is fun, but Bungie handled Reach worse than 343 is handling Halo 4. They shipped it and ignored it.

and since we are on this topic… what kind of greedy self induldging jerks make a map pack for a month old game? why not just put them in the game on release?

oh and I still haven’t gotten a code either. I’m over it though. I’ve excepted that 343 is just another crap studio who will be making the same game with a different number at the end of the title for years to come simply to make money. no better than call of duty or what battlefield is becoming.
I suggest we turn to independent developers who show that they care about their games instead of ignoring the people that made them who they are… they consumers.

And you know what should piss you off even more? I brought LE, which came with the Specialization, and on top of that on the 30th I got a message from Xbox Live containing my Specialization code. so what did i do? I gave it away on the forums. And thank god to not a self-centered immature brat like you.

Sit there at level 70 while I laugh at you for thinking this was more than just a freaking GAME. You have a lot more growing up to do.
