Five months later, still no Infection. This should’ve been included in the game at launch just all the other Halos did. The simple fact that one of Halo’s most beloved playlists STILL isn’t in the game nearly half a year after release is flat-out absurd. I’d also say that it’s a huge slap to the face to the franchise’s fanbase.
The worst part is, who knows when we will finally get Infection? It’s been a long time since we’ve heard anything about it from 343. The earliest it could arrive would be by the end of this month, and even so that means that Infection was delayed for half a year. Unfriggenbelievable (get it?).
Infection is the last piece of the puzzle to make Halo 5 a true Halo game. Stalling and waiting it out isn’t going to solve problems, 343. Get your rear in gear and focus on what needs to be done instead of promoting microtransactions.
Only 2 other halos had it at launch, Reach and 4, and they were the worst Halos to a lot of people. Halo 3 had infection, but only custom games. They only had online infection on special occasions
If you really miss infection that much you can do it halo 2 style. Surely you’ll be able to find others in the same predicament as yourself if it is that big of an issue.

It kind of had race with VIP.
Not that it was a full implementation, there. Rocket Race might have been there too by the same thing.
Reach was the one that fully re-implemented it, and it was also in H2A.
You saying all other Halos had infection at launch kinda shows you don’t know Halo as much as you think. It’s cool if you started later in the series but infection didn’t launch with ALL Halos as it didn’t show up well after H3 launched and it was only a special game type for Halloween. Be patient they said they were going to add it at some point. I could really care less about infection.
