I have a useless disc now and I can’t play halo… I’ve check throughout my email and i never got a code. What gives?
either one of the options have happened

your disk is scratched horribly
solution take it to a dvd rental store and get it buffed as long as the scratches arn’t horribly deep. -
the clear platic ring is cracked on the innerside of the disk
yur out of luck you got o buy a new one
however their are reasons why the disk container is to small the center peice of the disk holder is designed to strip games to ruin them
solution to that to give the big M finger to companys get a paper disk sleev to put your disk in then place it in your disk loosly in case don’t click it in just drop in in its case and close

ths can help whn it works g back to main menu and install your game to Hdrive so when you need to play again if it even gets a fragment of a moment reading it will start off of your Hdrive

i have the preview disc that microsoft gave people who signed up but now that disc is useless and they said they would send everyone who signed up would get a free copy of halo reach and I never got one… and its been like 2 weeks…

Oh, I thought those discs were only meant for certain types of xbox’s? so when you put the test disc inside a normal xbox it would insta console ban the normal xbox i beleive.
Well I had the preview dashboard update that’s why i could use the disc but since the Beta update the game won’t let me update, then Microsoft said they would send everyone with this problem a free version of the game and I never got the code in my email… and apparently I’m not the only person with this problem and no one is answering. Xbox support doesn’t help.
I also had a preview disk and did not receive an email about a code for the game.

For all of you who did not recieve the code, you NEED to call 1-800-4my-Xbox. They will have to send your case to a specialist, and then they will have the specialist call you back when they have a code for you. But you NEED to call Xbox for help on this issue.
This is the resolution for this. If you have not received the code call Xbox.
What I did was I went on Twitter and tweeted at Xbox Support and they just asked me for my gamertag then they sent it to the specialist and I just got an email that they are looking into it.
