Still no 60 fps?

Ive played halo since halo 1. All I’ll say is this… by now 60 fps is definately obtainable. If this game moves and plays as slow as reach i will be really let down.

Please 343 dont over think this game. Look back at movement speed from halo 2 and jump height and at least get that aspect right this time.

The graphics and what the game can do technically will take a BIG hit for 60 fps. Look at COD, good looking games on 360 at 60fps is very hard, I think COD is the best you can get

Movement speed + Jump height =/= frames-per-second.

The two are hardly even related… but I do see what you’re getting at. Truthfully, 343 would have to dumb down the graphics to CoD-level if they wanted to achieve 60 FPS, otherwise I don’t think the current hardware could handle it. The same thing happened with BF3: the developer chose great graphics over a high FPS.

With the current generation of consoles and/or game engines, I don’t think you can have both amazing graphics and 60 FPS.

I hope you realize that there is a very minor difference between 30 and 60, and it would be impossible to have 60 fps because the 360’d minimum requirements could not handle 60 fps even if they tried.

CoD has 60 fps because it is not an HD game. MW3 plays at 600p versus halo which plays at 720p.

Halo graphics> CoD graphics
Would you rather have nice graphics or a minimum difference of 60 fps vs 30 fps

Your preference on jump height and movement speed is not fact.
343 isnt going to look toward you to “get things right” in halo 4.

I’ll have you know plenty of people prefer reach, plenty of people prefer halo 3 and even halo 2 so dont go around as if one specific halo experience is the best of all.

Halo 4 is going to play like halo 4. Its not going to feel like halo 1 2 3 odst or reach. This is fact =)

Gameplay over graphic my friend.

Get a PC?

I don’t notice a problem. But I know a PC gamer who came back to Reach after the TU and was shocked by the framerate. So maybe there is a problem with 30fps but I don’t see it.

Fact:Human eye cant tell an increase in fps past 32. Good Game.

> Look back at movement speed from halo 2 and jump height and at least get that aspect right this time.

The frame rate doesn’t affect jump height or movement speed. Halo 2 did not run at higher than 30 FPS.

Im in no way bashing any halo game. I love halo in every way. Lets face it though, the population has decreased. You can form your own opinion as to why.

That’s not a fact at all…

Play cod and then play halo reach or any other halo game. You can tell a difference in fps without a doubt. Im halo all the way but this is a fact.

Not with the graphics this game is pushing.

This games graphics looks like Crysis, and it’s only at 30 fps. That’s a pretty good deal if you ask me.

I’d rather have Halo Reach’s 30FPS and great graphics over MW3’s 60FPS and ugly graphics.

You can only push the 360’s old hardware so far. It’s a miracle that 343 managed to up the graphics from what was in Reach and still managed to maintain 30FPS. If the push the framerate higher they would have to sacrifice graphics.

Okay, let me put this in words everyone can understand. Your eyes can’t tell the difference between 30 FPS and 60 FPS. Halo 4 looks way better than any crappy CoD game.

So people don’t play Halo because it runs at 30 fps?

Wrong.
