Still have faith in 343

I’m excited for halo 5 because 343 mest up so badly on the mcc, I have faith because of their failures. They know they mest up and don’t want to repeat it, they cant repeat it or halo might seas to exist. So I think they made the difficult choice to not devote as much resources to fixing the mcc as fast as possible. Instead devoting those resources to halo 5 to avoid another bad launch.

Im sorry but that speling was carp.

Yeah you could say his spelling, “seas” to exist. LOL

fanboys lol

After basically abandoning MCC, a game still not fixed yet, I have lost all respect for them.

I am not foolish enough to be swayed by their PR again like with MCC.

So what will all the negative people do if it is a success? Then what? If they release another game will they pre-order it again? I do not understand what is up with some of these people. MCC is playable now, yet they are still complaining, they even just added more ranks!

It’s unplayable to the most part of anyone outside of North America. If you’re not in that sweet region then you’ve just been abandoned as matchmaking still doesn’t have consistent results. I know for a fact that Australians basically can never play in matchmaking since they’re never paired with people, and when they are it’s extremely laggy.

To OP, I’d say skeptical is the appropriate word for my attitude towards 343i. They’ve shown off a cool few things, but I have to know practically everything about H5G to even justify preordering it due to how badly MCC turned out to be.

I always have faith in 343i
They love Halo and we can feel it

They’ve already learned their mistakes from the MCC. All future Halo games will have a beta!
And it’s not as though they’ve completely abandoned the MCC, as some have suggested.
They’re diverting whatever time towards it. Which is hard with the development of Halo 5.

Quite frankly, Halo 5 is unlikely to suffer the same problems as the MCC because they’re completely different projects. The MCC was a remastered edition of many of the major Halo games that were created be seamlessly integrated onto one disc, with matchmaking included. While Halo 5 is a brand new game in its own right.

Not true, I’m in Australia and I can find games pretty quickly and they’re very rarely laggy, the worst I’ve had for the past few months was when the game failed to load but that was once.

I’m not in North America and the last few times I’ve played online MP I’ve not had any issues. Had some lag when playing Halo 3 online co-op but other than that it’s been smooth

You’re bloody lucky then, most people I’ve spoken in Australia and some other countries like NZ, some eastern European and Asian countries complain on how it doesn’t work for them.
At least the campaigns work fine though, since ODST is pretty fun.

It works in Greece, but it took way longer to fix than most countries.

Meanwhile where I live in Vietnam…

Lol, but in all seriousness though, 343 had very little to do with the MCC. It was a seperate company that messed it up. 343 have been getting all the hate, but they’ve only been working on halo 5.

Same here. Sometimes it sounds like the servers work better here than America

TMCC was overly ambitious, 4 games updated to full HD as well as trying to keep or rework net code for games 10 plus years old. It was bound to have issues.

I’m Australian and am right now trying to get a game of h2a. When I started playing a about an hour ago it worked and I played 4 games. Ever since then I haven’t been able to get a game. Waiting now for over 1hour.
