No forge at launch is disappointing. Despite your opinion of what you think the minimum content is needed at launch, we can all agree that we need to be able to modify weapon spawns, fusion coils, crates, etc. for the sake of competitive.
We don’t need forge canvases. We just need to be able to increase the spawn times of x, y, z for a, b, c reasons.
The game should launch with a forge (no forge canvases) with only weapons and crates in the building menu. And you only can forge on the maps they release.

I don’t think you realize how much work it is just to make what you are stating. Do you want Forge delayed a year? That probably would happen if they quickly did this.

Guaranteed they already have a version of forge. There are several aspects to it that aren’t ready (hence the delay). What I’m asking for they already have done. They just need to have all the other features that are not done, locked.

“Guaranteed?” Lol.
While it sounds good on paper, we have no idea what issues they are having with the forge engine. So saying “Just release X,Y, and Z.” is counterproductive when we don’t know the scope of what is broken to begin with.
I’m on iOS right now, so linking to it would be a pain, but I made a topic about this almost a week ago basically saying the same thing in that they should try to have kind of a Forge: Lite at launch which would function pretty much like Halo 3’s forge. No building blocks, scripting, or anything complex, just the ability to manipulate weapons, vehicles, and small objects. So yeah I agree with you.
