So, I try to get just one game to decompress from a stressful day, cool. I fire up MCC and choose some good ole’ 4v4 BR Team Slayer and I get Narrows, sweet, I love this map. Get into the game, it’s a 2v4, very disappointing considering I just wanted ONE game. So, I quit because that’s no fun and I shouldn’t, or I thought I wouldn’t be penalized for leaving a lopsided game, well nope. Banhammer. I thought this was corrected, or am I mistaken? I already deleted Infinite weeks ago because of the state it’s in, the only way now I can enjoy a decent Halo game is through MCC. Sorry for ranting, but it’s just so tiring and frustrating at this point. Just feeling burnt out from 343i and their shenanigans.

You can appeal bans on the Halo Support website:

That assumes, of course, that your ban is still in place.
It’s true, you can quit if half of your team has. However, these 2 players never loaded into the match, they left prior to that so the game ‘thinks’ that there’s only two people on your team. So the first to quit (you in this case) would be penalized, whereas the second person would be free to without penalty. It sucks when this happens but there ain’t much you can do unless the other person leaves.

The quit ban is absolutely ridiculous, I agree. I haven’t played halo in a little bit now, and this week I’ve just kinda forgotten the thing exists. Then, I leave and get banned for 15 minutes. Whatever, 343I gives me an excuse to get my PVE challenges on firefight LoL. I’ve said it once, I’ll say again, MCC should have gotten a join in progress system in social games. Oh well, support for MCC pretty much ended, with the exception of little things since infinite’s out now. Big features like that would never come in the year 2022. Sad face.

Anyone else can’t get in to games right now? I get abandonned match before the end of the loading screen. And got ban of course.

I’m able to get into games, but it takes a while to find one, people seem to be disconnecting and it takes a long time to load in.
