I quit the game for 2 months, read somewhere that multiple causes of crashes have been fixed. Here I am, still crashing 24/7. Is this why steam playerbase is dead?

When does the game crash? What is being loaded while it happens? Is there an error message when you crash?
Season 2 hasn’t started yet, I think, so the big update hasn’t dropped yet. It’s later today? There also could be a hotfix after it releases if it causes more crashes somehow.
Obligatory suggestions/questions that aren’t as important as the above:
Try verifying game files.
I would say turning the graphics down but the game’s lowest graphics still load in a lot of higher resolution textures on the fly. It moves the workload around between your CPU, hard drive, and GPU. You’d have to watch through a good quality graphics comparison video to get insight on that.
What resolution and FPS are you running the game on?
What OS and what version of that OS are you running?
also try waiting another hour and then update the game. most of the major pc crashes are getting fixed with today’s update.

Same here man. On series X though. It’s very frustrating.
Still crashing after the update boys. And yes I have done all of the steps to fix it lol. Its not as regular now atleast but still.
Yup this is beyond a joke, i cannot play the team slayer playlist as it crashes as the map loads, just tried quick play playlist nope that crashes also, this is the second day without fail of this happening, so now i cant do my challenges because the game borked…
