Since I no longer have a Halo Reach disc I have been using the Halo CE Annv. disc and been playing MM on the Annv. map pack only. When I accepted an invite to join a friend to play some MM I was prompt to go to the marketplace and download Halo Reach for $39.99, so I did.
$40 later, I still can’t play any of the reach original maps or the DLC maps that I also purchased when they were first released.
Has anyone ran into this issue, not being able to play MM on any of the Reach maps or DLC map packs after purchasing the Halo Reach DLC?
If you bought Halo Reach as digital download, then you have to play the digital download. The Anniversary Game disc doesn’t not support the original and dlc maps from Reach, so if you can’t play MM this is probably why. If you are playing the digital downloaded game and can’t get into MM still, then its an issue from the download or game…
Why would i get prompt to buy Halo reach when i was in MM if i didn’t need it to play MM. i guess i be calling Xbox support and getting my money back. i’ll just have to go to gamestop and repurchase reach.

hey -Yoink!-, i called xbox support and they had me empty my cache, delete it from my memory, and re-download it. i haven’t had a chance to re-download it but i’ll get it sorted out for tonight.
i’m thinking i’ll just buy the game again. they said they’d give me a refund.
