The issue is still persisting for me and many others. Started with the last update/start of feb season. Takes a very long time to find matches or times out and says there are not enough players (which is obviously not true). It seems a ton of people outside of america are having this issue, from what I’ve seen the most commonly affected people seem to be european.
Whatever tweaks have been made to the matchmaking algorithms recently have obviously had a negative effect for many players. I can find warzone assault matches every now and then but they still take incredibly long and again, never did until the last couple of days.
This needs to be addressed, this needs to be fixed. There is obviously enough people in BTB to go around yet so many people are unable to play. I have sat for over an hour at times searching and searching with the same time out message. It seems like they have tried to improve matchmaking for european players recently but doing so has also caused this problem too. Threads keep getting buried on this issue and it needs to be rectified.
Reading between the lines I think they’re trying to region lock things. I’m in the UK and I wish they hadn’t bothered because the game is unplayable for me now. I haven’t even been able to get through the initial ranking process for February season. I’ve just deleted the game as it’s awful on so many levels.

I don’t understand why we don’t have any word from the Support Team. Is there a more important issue than being unable to actually play the game?
Everything was working incredibly well for me … until the start of the February Season. Everything was perfect since the lauch day back in October, now it’s MCC all over again.
Same in Australia. No BTB and no Warzone Assault.
Has this issue even been acknowledged?
Starting to get the feeling that if it isn’t e-sport or REQ pack related it isn’t a priority.

I found some games last night when I joined a group of my American friends but other than that, same issues. So frustrating this hasn’t been fixed yet and I see more people are complaining about it

Issue is still ongoing for me and a lot of my fellow UK/EU pals. The only way I find matches is playing with some of my American friends, which is obviously extremely restricting because of time zones etc.
Basically, any reply from 343 would be fantastic right about now. Forget removing breakout from team arena, I’d think people being unable to actually play the game through their incompetence would be a higher priority? Why even bother having support forums when they don’t even browse their own forums to give support
I live in Spain and i had never had a problem finding a game… Thats until today… Cannot find BTB game at all
UK have no issue finding games except BTB. Haven’t found a game in BTB since December.
We have a thread here on the Halo 5 section where we talk about some issues from the February update. Maybe we should try to keep it alive as there are more people on this section than on the support. We need those issues to be known by the majority of people and hopefully it will get noticed by 343i.

Yes, but it doesn’t look like people are reporting the issues on the same threads.
This is STILL an issue all this time later. Still can’t find matches outside of peak hours, even though 343 have said on reddit it should be searching local first then worldwide to find matches if none are found locally.
Either it’s not working the way they intended and they goofed up or there aren’t 15 other people searching world wide. Which one do you guys think is most likely?

Also I never had problems with Halo 5 since the release, however after this update step 30 to 45 minutes to find a game to be in it in any queue.
I’m in Missouri, in the middle of the United States and can’t get certain arena modes to load queuing solo. You guys aren’t alone. I really wish 343 would respond to this issue.
