“Only just bought this game, played it for the first time 2 days ago going through the story missions. Only completed 2/3 missions before I had to come off.Now when I got to load Halo it says I can’t connect to the multiplayer services. I have done all resets known to man on my Xbox and modem. Even tried resetting the Tv (still nothing).I just want to play my new game :(”
Posted here a few days a go with no luck, hoping someone has come across this and knows how to get it working.
I’m on Xbox 1 and NAT TYPE: OPEN
Appreciate any help.
If ever I cannot connect, I just go to Xbox home, press the Menu button (three lines) while Halo 5 is highlighted and select ‘Quit’. This will quit your Halo 5 application. Now wait 15-20 seconds and then go to ‘My Games and Apps’. Launch Halo 5 and it should be back to normal
That’s what worked for me anyway
Thanks man, I’m sure a hard reset works in a similar way to this, however I will try these exact steps when I get in from work.
I know I can play solo offline but I really wanted to play the campaign with friends, beginning to get a tad annoyed I can’t.
I Had this same problem and it was very infuriating!
But i found a solution!
Delete your profile from your xbox one and than bring it back on!
It works perfect now and haven’t had any problems since =]
Goodluck!
Hey newMAGMAR,
Someone on Reddit suggested trying this once I reinstalled the game, unfortunately after reinstalling both the game and my profile it’s still not working
I’m having the same trouble! It’s telling me that it could not find a server suitable for me… Smh
