So I make a new save to go to the area on the turret to grab the tank gun but I still can’t grab it and use it so is it because I beat the game on my main account and I just can’t use it cause I don’t want to obtain it on an alt account?
Your problem here is that you’re playing Infinite and expecting anything good.

You have to press the buttons that appear in the “Outpost Tremonius” mission to get it. There’s a guide on how to execute this on YouTube.

That what I did I went to the exact location and no button appeared
Ahh. I see.
You have to get it during the start of that mission. Otherwise, they disappear permanently. Or at least until mission replay drops.

The weird thing was it should show up up since the new save in on the outpost story mission but it doesn’t?
Maybe try it again on a new save and make sure you tap all 3 buttons during the mission?

Not the controller buttons. There are switches you need to hit hidden around the mission area. Look up “Halo Infinite How to get tank gun” on youtube.
You do not need to interact with those switches to pick up the tank gun those switches just activate turrets to help take care of enemies in the area all you need to do is stand ontop of the cannon right near the end of it and hold x to pick up this must be done before you trigger the cutscene after clearing out the landing pad and the pilot lands in the area

Yeah I didn’t trigger the cutscene yet the tank gun didn’t spawn on the new save

I’m having the same issue. Its as if the patch to bing it back is messed up.

It’s there. It’s on the left cannon of the second turret. Just started a new save and sped ran it there. You don’t need to trigger the three buttons for the carpet bomb either.

It seems they fixed it in the winter update went back on the new save and was able to use the tank gun.
