Decided to leave the MCC alone for a couple of weeks and give the good folks at 343i a chance to fix some of the issues.
Noticed that they included party issues and disconnects in the last patch and thought it would be a good time for my friend and I to party up and finish Halo CE.
Oh man, was I wrong!
Got into a party, launched the MCC and started playing the MAW. Almost made it to the end before my friends game froze. I could see his Master Chief frozen in time and no amount of waiting was going to fix the issue. The game didn’t disconnect our party though, we could still talk to each other but he had to leave the game. He left the game, I was hoping to invite him back but that wasn’t going to work, I got a disconnect count down timer.
Of course all progress was lost because the game still wont save at checkpoints if you’re playing co-op.
Clearly these issues have not been fixed, clearly the team at 343i have no clue about what they’re doing. Over a month in and the game is still a mess. Sad, just really sad.
