why did you make it so hard to get mark IV?!?!?! This random chance req system is a bunch of -Yoink- Please make it easier to get it. All I am begging for is the helmet! Please 343! Can’t you make it so watching episode 1 of the fall of reach gets us the helmet and all three give us the armor? You did that with Nightfall. Or beating the maw on legendary in mcc. Just PLEASE make it easier to get!

I have 80/191 helmets. At this rate, I won’t have it through the req system for at least 6 more months if it is the last armor I get and they don’t add any new permanent reqs in that time.
Try begging with your credit card.
I want it to. Luckily they don’t add TOO much in terms of permanent req’s (nothing that can’t be reasonably obtained) so just grind and you’ll get em.

I went from 80 to 147 in about a month. You can do it. I will get it as well. Good luck
Gotta do it the right way. Bronze to Silvers then to Gold. Opening gold packs and getting uncommons to rares isn’t going to make it any quicker. You may pull ultra rares and maybe just maybe a legendary, but the quickest is start from the bottom. Eventually you’ll get it. I have everything already besides helioskrill and the rest of the emblems that are unlocked by commendations + spartan ranks. And it doesn’t take 6 more months… It only took me 2 months. I could have shorten it if I were to put more time, but school is a priority for me. But I’m on break

If you have been buying gold packs only and never bothered to finish bronze or silvers, you could see why uncommon pops up in gold packs.
I why can’t everything come with a clear goal?! Stupid req system and your random chance.
i got lucky and it was my first mythic item from req packs the armor came 2 days later
I only grow to hate the req system more and more as time goes on. I too suffer from getting emblems in every pack, and getting four variants of the same piece of armor.
Please 343I, never try this again.

In my defense, I started on just silver. I have all the common and uncommon armors. Then i moved to gold. I still stand by what I said.

I skipped Bronze pretty much. I went straight for Silver then moved to gold. Finished up Bronze items last. Was only missing like 3 helmets and a mongoose cert though.

^ This. I did the same thing and just went on the grind every day. I finally got the IV the other day, and mainly thanks to just having pretty much everything unlocked.
I’m in the same road but I’m grinding for the gold standard skins buying one gold pack every few days between silvers for a chance of getting it before I finish the req collection

I know you’re pain, it’s ridiculous how much effort it is to get this armour. I would earn the armour by something skillful like when I completed Halo 5 solo on legendary but instead we get this annoying REQ lottery.

This, You have to be tactical with your REQ packs. Open them in order - Bronze, the Silver and finally Gold, once you have unlocked nearly all common to rare items.
