Sticky Detonator Question

Does anyone know if you can hold down the trigger to prolong the grenade’s explosion? (Think: the Grenade Launcher in Reach)?

And if so, does anyone know if this works when it “sticks” to a player, or does it just automatically explode if it hits someone regardless?

U shoot and and then press trigger to detonate.

Pull the trigger once to shoot and a second time to detonate. If you don’t manually detonate it will do so on its own after a period of time.

You can essentially make it last the whole duration of a game or until you die. If you die, it will detonate automatically. You basically shoot the sticky onto any surface without the use of holding down the trigger. When you pull the trigger again, it will detonate it.

What’s also really cool about it is that it has a radar screen on the side which shows a white circle in the middle. That point is called the “area of effect” or the area at which the detonator will kill someone. In order to do this, you will have to wait for the red dot on the radar screen which signifies an enemy, to walk over that area of effect. When that happens, you pull the trigger to detonate and it will kill the person who walked over it.

So realistically, you can booby trap an enemy vehicle clear across the other side of the map and detonate it from all the way on the other side of the map by waiting for that red dot to pass over that white circle on the radar. Probably going to be my favorite weapon to use in Halo 4.

Same here.

The possibilities of this gun are endless.

I can’t wait to tag my own vehicle with it…

I’m fairly certain you can do this, but has anyone got any gameplay of someone swapping weapons after firing it and then swapping back to detonate?

Yeah you can. I saw some footage of someone doing that but I can’t remember the name of the video.

Of course you can. I’ve seen it in a few vids too, but don’t bother asking for sources lol… wayyy too many vids out there.
