I am so tired of these panic stickers. I am outskilling them and right before I get the final kill shot, they just throw random stickies at me and kill me just as I get them. It also doesn’t help that the horrific lag and connections usually make the stickies bounce or heat seek onto me.
honestly, the sticky annihilates vehicles and it is a huge crutch to those who lack skill. Why is it a loadout option?

Completely agree, I am curious to see if anyone can legitimately defend the sticky.
How about loadouts gone then all problems would be solved :). I want too see alot of the options available in the loadouts gone. Stickies are one of the many things people should not be spawning with.
They’ve ruined CQC completely. I shoot someone, melee their -Yoinks!- to finish them off, and how do I get rewarded for being quicker and better than them? A nice sticky grenade to the face.
It’s essentially Halo 4’s answer to CoD’s ‘Second Chance’ feature.

CoD has panic knifing and now Halo has panic stickies. The auto aim with the stickies is way too powerful.
Nerf their magnetism and lengthen the animation of how long it takes to throw one. That would cut down on lucky panic sticks from the grave significantly. As for how they’re balanced in the sandbox overall, I still think 343 got pulse grenades and plasma grenades backwards. Plasma grenades with a plasma pistol secondary can single handidly ruin vehicle combat. It’s a frustrating and unbalanced decision to include them so readily in loadouts.
Stickies are needed to ballence the insane amount of vehicles… I support spawning with two of them however…
They are mini power weapons that are too easy to use the need less magnetism. Far too often I throw one and say, “yoink, I missed” but suddenly… My sticky stuck? It should be a clear stick or no stick. Especially since they are anti vehicle the are used against large targets that are often stationary due to a plasma pistol EMP. There is no reason to make this nade so easy.

Oh yes the insane amount of Vehicles that are made from a weaker version of paper than Halo Reach. You surely need stickies to kill them when you spawn with Plasma Pistols and are supported by the fact at least three of your teammates “earned” a power weapon with ordinance.
Title and poll question are confusing. I accidently voted yes based on the topic title.
Theres no way stickies should be in loadouts let alone 2.
They make vehicles invalid.
They make any CQC invalid. Get triple kill with Hammer and just get stuck by the 3rd guy at point blank as he dies makes me want to hurt 343 employees.

sorry about the poll, but yea I know what you mean. Slash a guy with a sword notice blue light. Last thought before dieing…“f*** panic stickers” haha

I have to agree. Vehicles just aren’t threatening anymore. I see a warthog in Halo 3 and I think run the other way. I see a warthog in Halo 4 and I think wow people use those? Oh well easy double or triple kill for me…its sad to because I love vehicle combat in Halo 3.

Yes, much less noob combo, but the price we have to pay is worthless vehicles…i don’t dig it.
> They are easier to spot and avoid, smaller splash damage and no bounce. I switch nades all the time, they are all great.

Eh not with lag, plus panic stickers up close are lethal because you don’t have enough room or time to dodge. As for smaller splash that’s because if they stick you or a vehicle they become like 50 times more lethal. Also with the lag I have actually been stuck off of bounces that decided to randomly attach to my leg so yes I see what you’re saying but it isn’t how they really work in sad to say.

Sounds like lag is the problem, same reason you can get killed by people as/after they die, by that logic the melee button should be locked, because I’ve killed people then died to a punch he wasn’t close enough to hit after I got the kill already.
Plasma Grenades, just like Plasma Pistol, are good against vehicles, but, just like Plasma Pistol, are weak against infantry. With direct hit they’re lethal (until enemy has overshield), but beyond that, they’re basically useless. They’re easy to spot and it’s explosion is just not as powerful. They’re better for BTB just like frags are better for smaller maps. It’s just part of Halo’s sandbox and it’s good as it is.

True, but someone needs to stand next to me to melee me even with lag. Panic stickers can just chuck nades wherever they are. Also the lag often screw with the melee system as well. People have punched me and I’ve not taken damage.
lag isn’t the problem though, its a symptom not a cause. If you played reach in invasion you’d remember how an elite would roll up spam at you and roll away. Panic stickers function very similarly, just they don’t roll and just bomb stickies at you instead.
the similarities, both are loadouts and both are annoying.
