So the other day I was playing slayer with a friend on my Xbox, on one particular match I killed him but he did manage to stick me.
The sticky never detonated on me and the kill cam showed that it stuck to my hand, my spartan then began to shake his arm as if he were trying to get it off and he did. The sticky then detonated on the floor causing no damage to me.
Is this new? Has this happened to any of you? I wonder if it only happens if you’re stuck on your hand or maybe even on the foot.
Bump. Would like to know if it works on any other body part like feet. That way I can bunny hop away from stickies.

Yea I’ll try to get a clip today. It should still be on my local files but file share doesn’t work right? And I don’t know how to upload to YouTube without recording it on my phone… Lol

I feel like I’ve seen this happen but can’t confirm or deny it, maybe when you kill someone and they stuck you in a particular spot you shake it off?

I haven’t seen this before, but I remember back in Halo 2 some of the top players would deflect sticky grenades with a melee from the sword or plasma rifle. It looked very cool. I remember seeing people trying to copy this trick, but they never got the timing right.
Reminds me of whatever Halo it was that if your gun got stuck you could just switch guns and it would drop off. Halo 3? Dunno, but I remember it.
Also a good number of sticky kills are desperation death throws, which it sounds like this one was, so it’s interesting!
