Stick a fork in me im done

After being slaughtered for game after game for the last probably 2 hours worth of play im through with this unfinished pile of yoinks multiplayer.I will go back to playing games that dont make me feel like yoink.Ps extremely condecending the way you hide the fact randoms like me are playing against teams.

Back to Hannah Montana: the video game then?

Haha just kidding. Sorry to see you go.

Take a break.

Sometimes I get on loosing streaks too. But, after getting away, it is all fine. We can’t let it take over.

Also, sometimes it is good to change up the playlist or try something new in Campaign or Spartan Ops.

It is unfortunate that randoms due tend to get outbeat by teams, but that is the point of having teams. No one is hiding that parties that stick together are a team. The best solution is to come up with a team of your own.

Goodluck. Take a breather. Enjoy it after a little while.

More power to you.

Sorry you had a bad experience playing against teams. I’d be willing to team up sometime if you’d care to.(sincerity)

u should probably play a video game where you can tear through a crap load of people if your that angry… doing something like that makes u feel AMAZING!!

Unfinished? Really?

Regardless, I’d encourage you to practice, get better, and learn gameplay techniques online (TheHaloCouncil makes good Youtube videos on this), rather than quitting. There’s nothing wrong with the game (well there are some things, but nothing that you seem to be mentioning), so I’d blame the problems you’re having on how you’re approaching the game.

I just play on Mondays. My stress levels are way down because of it when I think about this game.

I know how you feel, there are matches where it seems I can do no wrong, every bullet that leaves the muzzle of my rifle meets its target, all my grenades are knocking out shields like a boss, and all my random teammates band together like a tight nit clan that has been playing together for years.

THAN, there are strings of matches where nothing goes right. Every random grenade finds me, some yahoo never seems to run out of ammo on the incinerery canon, and no matter how many times I shoot a Spartan they just won’t die. But it is those matches that make the matches in the statement above that much more fun. Because if I spent every game just being a dominate death machine than I think the game would truly be boring.

so true haha!

op, feel free to add me and we can play together. i win about 50% of my games; though, i’ve been doing pretty well lately. been winning about 80% of my games these past 2-3 days.

The problem is how powerful the auto aim and bullet magnetism are in this game. It takes any form of skill out of the game. So while you and I are attempting to score headshots and pacing our fire, others are just aiming in our general direction and firing away.

right…so, you’re abandoning this game because you’re losing??

valid argument…

Than on the flip side to auto aim is it can F you over as well, there have been many times I have been one final shot away from downing an enemy just to auto aim on another enemy running past, THAN BOOM they both shoot me and I die, the auto aim, sometimes she givith, and others she takith away

try going for plasma pistol commendation like me, i got about -20 K/D a game, and im lucky if i even get 3+ kills.

i used to get really angry when i would die constantly but learned its better to have fun then to be really serious. atm i have a overall negative K/D and i don’t care.

As a newcomer to the HALO series coming from CoD:MW1/2/3, I’ve quickly learned that K/D and W/L means very little in this game. I play because its mostly fun to go for objectives and try out the different modes (look at Flood, its so incredibly hard to go positive in that mode). This is also probably the first series where I’m thoroughly impressed by some of the ways I’ve been killed by other players (i.e. getting smeared by a banshee mid-jetpack).

Welcome to Halo, and I think this point has been driven home pretty hard but they really should track K/D on objective games separately from the Slayer type games or just not track it at all. That way players would just play the objective and go for the win instead of camo-camping on the outer part of the map K/D farming.

Its very humbling to see all the supportive post and I thank you all for it.Halo has a great community.Im just gonna take a break but I really look forward to the true skill matching system being put in tyhe game.Having that as an option really helped me out in Reach.Even when I get angry at Halo I will always be back (probably later today lol) as deep down its the game franchise I love the most.

Seems a bit drastic to stick a fork in yourself over a video game. You should consider other alternatives to release tension and anger.

Hell yeah, because if you never yell at some bunny hopping goof ball with an AR that never seems to run out of ammo and doesn’t die no matter how many head shots you landed, well than you are just not playing this game right, lol
