I think the Halo 4 forum on Halo Waypoint isn’t exactly the best place to be if you’re concerned about spoilers…

This could have easily been resolved by checking IMDB and not throwing a spoiler up. VA’s are listed in the cast, especially if they are affiliated with SAG, or the VA’s version of SAG.

With a little research, you would have known that FUD takes place 27 years prior to the events of Halo 4. In FUD, the chief is just 19 years old, so they obviously had to go for a younger voice. Of course he isn’t going to sound the same. However, later in FUD, Steve does come back to voice the chief.

As if we’d actually see his face. Haha. The speech is just so the motions of the Chief and other actors all feel natural.
