Everyone has seen H4’s armour and weapon skins. The custom paint jobs are pretty cool, right?
My idea (If possible) is that you can customise these colours in the armoury with individual pieces. That way, we can choose where primary/ secondary colours go.
It also means weapons can be truely customised to user preference, to create a unique experience for the player.
Finally, these custom skins could be uploaded to the file share, for download by other players and for more people to use.
Sounds great on paper, but like DeM said, it can get messed up. I think a proper step up, would be to use any skin with any armour. You would choose your armour, then skin for each armour piece.

From the looks of it, it seems OP is saying they should upgrade from coloring your armor as a whole to being able to choose the primary and secondary colors of each armor piece.
Primary and secondary colors for each piece of armor!
SKINS for your armor, like camo, battle damage, floral, and UNSC loyalty!
Skins for your weapons, I really like the shark face AR XD
