Hey guys, I got my invite last week for Halo Infinite flighting. I downloaded it, was able to launch but not play as the flight was closed when i got my invite. Now that the flight is open again, steam won’t even launch the game at all. the error message says failed to start process for Halo Infinite Insider. “Access is denied” (0x5) is anyone else having the same issue? My pc is updated, i followed all the instructions for steam flighting but it wont launch
Hey, I’ll see if I can give you some pointers to try and find a solution. Try each step and then see if you can get the game to run.
Step 1: In the words of the greatest show ever created “Have you tried turning it off and on again?” - The IT Crowd
Just wanted to throw that out there as a just in case you haven’t already
Step 2: Do this to attempt running the game as an Administrator. (0x5) typically means it’s having an issue with security.
- Right Click on Halo Infinite in your game library - In the menu that pops up go to Manage → Browse Local Files - After the Windows Explorer window opens up find file “HaloInfinite” or “HaloInfinite.exe” depending on your view settings. - Right Click that file and click "Run as Administrator"Hopefully one of those solutions help you to get up and running…
