Anyone notice how on steam there’s no mention of the zeta sky pre-order? I checked over on their forums and it’s extremely toxic. Just wondering if the pre-order bonus for all pre-orders or if the zeta sky pre-order isn’t on digital retailers.
The Zeta sky pre order stuff is only for Retailers, it’s there to drive sales to those stores.
Promo content like that will be available to all after a period of time anyway, it’s essentially a timed exclusive piece of content for pre ordering from your select storefront.
Microsoft Store & Steam don’t have any pre order bonuses. There’s likely a whole host of reasons but going into depth about product & retail strategy & partnerships etc on Waypoint doesn’t feel like the right place for that type of conversation.

I do wonder if this will hurt initial sales of the campaign though. Like, I want to own the game on Steam. I wanted to buy it, saw preorders elsewhere and thought Steam might have one. When I looked, I saw it didn’t, so I didn’t preorder.
Instead, I’ll probably play it on my Game Pass account until it goes on sale, then move to Steam once it does. I can’t imagine I’m the only one thinking that way, Game Pass or not.
The steam page in general is all sorts of weird. I wish they’d get their marketing people to fix up. They have to know it’s going to be a large chunk of their sales.
