Any time I get a steam message, my frame rate drops to around 25 - 30fps and it stays there until I press shift + tab to view the message. Curiously, I get the same issues when something on my second monitor is happening, even the 3 animated dots of someone typing a message in facebook messenger will halve my frame rate. Wallpaper Engine will have the same effect unless I play with only one monitor going. I have never had any such issue with any other game, and I don’t have any performance issues with this game except for those mentioned.
Is there some sort of troubleshooting I can do to remedy this? Does anyone else have this issue? 343i pls ty
