I was wondering if anyone else has had issues with the Stealth specialization upgrade not working? Just played a infinite slayer game with Cloak and Stealth. I was killed by a player using promethean vision. In the kill cam, I showed up behind a wall as red instead of the intended graphic for stealth. Was he hacking or is this a known issue?
I would assume broken kill cam. I’ve personally tested out stealth with a guest controller, and had no issues.
Don’t trust kill cams at all, they show incorrect data all the time.
He likely didn’t see you.
Kill cams are pretty buggy.
You must reach Level 10 in order to get your unlockable perk for the Specialization to work. If you didn’t enable it then it doesn’t work and you will show up as red on the enemys visor when he/she uses Promethean vision.
Also, depending on how fast you were going (crouch or staying still is better) and what movement you are doing (such as going up a steep ramp which causes you to be shown on the radar), you might or might not show up as red nor be seen on the radar.
I’m level 66 with 2 classes equipped with the stealth upgrade and, as I mentioned in the original post, cloak. The reason I ask is because he immediately went right to where I was and began popping my skull. I, also, tested stealth in a custom game with a guest controller. He shouldn’t have seen me yet he most certainly did. Three times, as a matter of fact. It also showed up on the kill cam. It’s the only way I can figure out that he knew I was there. I was crouched and my AA was on cooldown at that moment. No little false dots to alert him either.

Given that you’re using incorrect terminology, it isn’t that unreasonable that he didn’t understand what you were saying.
Also once people are more accustomed to the maps, they begin checking the common camping spots more, giving the illusion that he saw you.
Lastly, if you were in a team game, any one of his teammates could’ve told him your position.
I go into Infinity Slayer with Stealth on all the time, I haven’t noticed it being buggy at all. While you could’ve happened to come across a rare bug, it is just more likely his team knew where you were, or you were in a common camp spot.
