Stealth King

> Additionally, we’ll be adding Stealth King to the playlist. The game type is quite different from traditional King of the Hill – each player is equipped with a Sniper Rifle, Plasma Grenades, and the Thruster Pack. Oh, and all players in the Hill have Active Camouflage. If it sounds crazy, it absolutely is, and we hope you enjoy this new fun game type during King of the Hill’s reign as our featured playlist.

We want the core KOTH experience not whatever this gametype is. Please take this into consideration with the upcoming rotational playlists.

Anybody else agree? Or do you like the implementation of gametypes like Stealth King?

This sounds stupid. Similar to Ninja Assassins, in that they probably got a test group of 10 year olds together and asked them what their favourite Halo things are. Sniper Rifles, Swords and Stickies.

Just like Team Snipers. So nooby.

Not really. If the playlist is KOTH, i wan’t to play KOTH. This sounds more like it would fit into Action Sack.
Well i don’t want to judge b4 I get to play it, but it just does not sound funny at all.

> Not really.

I’m not being serious.

Doesn’t seem that bad, but I suppose if they lose the plasma grenades thruster pack then it could be worth a challenge.

  1. It sounds really annoying, so let’s get that out of the way.

  2. I think at this point, Halo 4 is what it is*, so if you’re going to hold your breath, hold it for Guardians.

*Which isn’t to say I don’t like it; I would just prefer not to play a KOTH with an overload of active camo, snipers, plasma spamming, etc.

Actually, Halo 3 utilized this same gametype, called Lurkers. However, Lurkers was for Land Grab (a variant of Territories that has multiple hills), while this is essentially Lurkers in the King of the Hill environment.
