Stealth and Promethean Vision

Because many people seem to be unsure of how it affects Promethean Vision, this is how someone with Stealth is [not] seen on Promethean Vision [Video is NOT mine, just a random youtube video.].

I’ve had Stealth for a while, and in my opinion it is invaluable on gametypes that consist primarily of small or close quarters maps such as Infinity Slayer, Regicide, and a few Oddball maps.

good post.

Well do you want to use it in an open map where people can see your outline even more?

Especially on Adrift, when the entire team is using PV, that stealth perk really comes in handy

Promethean Vision has a limited range (it only affects out to so far), so you never see any good players using it on large scale maps. Stealth can still be useful for the silenced footsteps (hearing enemy players’ footsteps have saved me and/or helped me get the drop on them before), but unless you play with pretty bad players, people tend to use other AAs on large maps.

As of now I personally use either Ammo or (after two more ranks) the Operator perk on large maps, depending on whether I want to go it on foot or in a vehicle.

And yeah, almost any Infinity Slayer map (Complex dependent upon how many PV users you have and whether their playstyle is to get up and close or camp on the building), Regicide, CTF (minus Ragnarok), and Oddball maps are great to use Stealth on. Basically any of the maps where Promethean Vision is commonly used.

Great this come handy againts the PV. i hata that -Yoink-
