Does anyone else here get their kill stolen while you’re in the middle of an assassination? Sucks when you’re doing a satisfying, deserving assassination, just for your teammate to purposely shoot your prey.
It’s like “Really, dude? C’mon.” I feel like we should at least get the kill credit for that.
Just another reason to turn assassinations off and get the much quicker and more effective 1 hit melee in the back!

I would do that if I was a serious Halo player. Assassinations are too awesome though. Lol.
It’s called Yoink. The risk you take when assassinating.
Oh man. As soon as I see an assassination from afar, I switch to my pistol, start shooting blindly and hope to steal the kill.
I think everyone is probably guilty of stealing a kill when doing an assassination but fairly, they shouldn’t be interrupted.
I don’t steal kill them because I know it pisses me off when it happens to me.
Just get better at assassinating… done
As i saw most ppl stop shooting while i break something…but yeah an interruption medal would be nice.
f*ing aholes. I always let my teamate finish their assassination and cover them to make sure another enemy doesn’t kill them right after. My friend ALWAYS steals my assassination and thinks its funny or something

Nope haven’t had this happen to me. Most likely cause I have it turned off. Thank you 343 for that option, and thank you teammates for holding the kill for me.
They really need to make it impossible to steal assassinations without an explosive weapon that would kill the assassin too and give the yoinker a bad score.
It frustrates me too but I do yoink myself sometimes without trying as it can be hard to tell what is going on in a fast paced fight.

I actually yoinked someone yesterday because I wasn’t sure if my teammate was the one getting assassinated. I actually openly apologized on mic and explained why I took it. Other than that, I will do what I can to let my teammate finish an assassination. Unfortunately, people often do not share my opinion, especially when I take out the Sangheili General on A.R.C. and just have 4 guys simultaneously melee after I’d tackled the General. Annoying as -Yoink-, am I right?

That doesn’t really make sense. I’m not having issues doing the assassination. Lol
Better yet, when you play swat and your teammates try and steal the kill but end up headshotting me instead, thus freeing the enemy and getting themselves killed.
I HATE this problem. I took every path possible to flank my enemy and then some sniper kills my prey
