Stealing CoD fans vs Preserving Classic Halo

As much as I’d hate to admit it, I’m torn between the two. I want an evolved Halo, free of CoD features, but I also want my old Halo 2/3 buddies back, who’ve been MIA since CoD 4, shortly after the release of Halo 3.

That… Not this freaking thread again! I’m tired of all those “CoD this” and “CoD that” threads. And why does Halo have to be compared to CoD? Is CoD the ultimate reference in the FPS genre? Except for sale numbers I don’t think so.
