Look guys, Stealing Boss kills in Warzone is an essential element of the game. Warzone relies heavily on out performing the opposing team early on. This allows for a team to advance in reqs faster, which in turn helps them advance even faster. So essential Warzone reqs cascade on each other. Without Boss Stealing, Warzone would be one sided EVERY time. The team with the better start would continue to grow their req energy faster than the opposing team, which would render that team unable to make a comeback! Don’t you guys get it, Stealing boss kills is partially the only chance a losing team has to comeback. The only other way to comeback would be to capture all 3 bases, which is near impossible. Lets say one team is up 400-200 and a legendary boss pops up. The losing team steals the kill and is suddenly on the playing field req and point wise. Now, its an even match.
EDIT: Here’s a question to think about. If your team was down by 200 plus points and there was no such thing as boss stealing (instead they grant point based on damage done), then how would your team make a comeback? Its nearly impossible isn’t it, with Warzone’s game design.
EDIT: Imagine your football team advances 50 yards, then the next play they throw an interception. Yes, they would be mad and yes they worked hard for those 50 yards. Yet, interceptions are part of football and completely far. Think of boss stealing the same way. You work hard and take most of the boss’s health, but another player from another team ends up with the kill.

I just wish the bosses didn’t run to the enemy once their health gets low.

I agree. The best way to prevent boss stealing when your team is leading is to secure the area. Many players don’t even try to do this, they just throw everything they have at the boss and hope for the kill.

Its like a rage mode, haha. I think its fine though. It creates more chaos.

No, I understand what your saying. I accept that boss stealing is a part of the game. I’m not going to go as far as to say that it is essential to the game, but it is a part of it and I am OK with it.
Maybe I should have clarified in my first post that I have noticed that the frequency of said threads has decreased; thus, most people have accepted it. (or have “gotten over it”)

I see, thanks for clearing that up. The reason I created this post was a minor response to a recent post “I Hate Warzone.” I wanted to make my point on my boss stealing is a part of warzone and should stay.
Has there ever been anyone against boss kill-stealing that would absolutely refuse to do it when given the opportunity? I doubt it.

I doubt any player would refuse an opportunity to try an steal a boss kill. The problem is, a lot of player complain over it. Many stating for 343 to get rid of it all together and i think that would be a terrible idea.

I don’t really mind boss stealing. If my team is fighting a boss I usually scout the perimeter of the general area and shoot down enemies to keep them away from the boss.

Have some players make a push at the enemy’s armory, forcing them to focus on them instead of the pilots.

sounds nice in theory, after 1000 matches of wz I have yet to see something like that in practice though. The only possible way on baron sarom is to capture all 3 bases, , but even then some invi guy can always lurk around. Also the boss is usually trivial since your team has already won with 3 bases more or less. Captain wamik and pilot dalamen are impossible to protect from the other team, since you can easily splaser them from the core.
I tend to try and get the last shot on bosses. Bring in the railgun, pop a couple rounds in and one more when the health is almost gone. That works best for the bosses in the air or ghost. Wraith seems harder to take out but I don’t get many shots in its week points.
I enjoy boss stealing as it turns games around for good or bad lol

Then you make a solid point
