Steal-able Trait

What if you could make a custom power up, and make it so that it never faded, but was only kept by the person that was currently in possession of it. Let me give you an example:

You picked up a custom power up that gives you 50% shorter shield recharge delay. The trait doesn’t appear for as long as you are alive, but the moment that you friend kills you in the FFA, now you no longer have the trait, but he now has his shields recharging faster, and the only way you will get that trait back is by killing him.

Think of a gametype where you could potentially have 4 custom power ups, and the players in the game were scrambling, trying to kill each other to be the owner of all the perks.

Effectively, think of allowing you to apply juggernaut to other gametypes.

Seems like it could be fun for social FFA.

Wouldn’t mind having something like that get tossed in the mix.

Sort of like a juggernaut style mode? Kill to gain the power?

I like this idea. It would make for a very fun game mode, in a social playlist. Here’s me hoping 343 will somehow up their ‘‘community efforts’’ by bringing back the old days of weekly playlists, like Halo 3 had with the Double EXP weekends.

But seriously, as a casual gametype it sounds like it could be a lot of fun.

Sounds like a cool idea, might be kind of hard to implement though
